| I got a chance today to contact Mystique Summers from Season Two of RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo. She was kind enough to take a few minutes out of her day to answer some questions. For those who don’t know Mystique, she is a Chicago born Drag Queen, currently living in Bedford, Texas. She is the sole plus size queen on the show. And you all know how Tranny Talk 101 lives for the big girls! |

| TT101: | Thanks you so much for sitting with us Mystique, and answering some of our questions. I know there is a HUGE buzz around RuPaul’s Drag Race right now. So I did have a couple questions about the show I would like to get out of the way first off.
Everyone who goes on reality, or competition shows always talks about what a journey the whole experience was. Would you say that this was true for you, and if so what did you learn from it? |

| Mystique: | Well I sent in my Video.. and then I sign up for the voting and if they was going to have a casting call in DFW I was going to hit that up to… I wanted them to GET TIRED OF SEEING ME. LOL | |
| TT101: | Are you still friends with all of the other girls? Are you going to be maid of honor at any of their weddings? (WHEN, not IF it ever becomes legal nationwide)  |

| TT101: | I am from Dallas, but I moved away before becoming involved in drag myself. So I will admit I have never seen any shows up there. What is good about drag in your area? | |

| TT101: | Are you a pageant girl? If so, what titles do you have, or are working on attaining? | |
| Mystique: | Lol yes I am a MIX of a pageant Girl and a charity Girl.. lol I am Miss Dallas State @ Large Former Miss Best friends club Miss Le Femme and Miss Ho Ho Ho LOL | |
| TT101: | There is SO much involved in drag. So much more than what a lot of people think. You have to be able to paint, sew, know your body, know how to sing, dance, and WAY more. Do you find that any of your visual arts training and experience helpful at all when getting ready or performing? | |
| Mystique: | Well yes I’m a freelance graphic artist.. So I know how my makeup look is going to look like before I put on make up. | |
| TT101: | We are both big girls. Yay, big girl representation! Do you think a plus size queen can do it better than a smaller one? | |
| Mystique: | Well in my Thought A lot of Plus size queens can work the stage Better than ANYONE…. BUT a lot of things are design for skinny performers and that just sucks. | |
| TT101: | I think my readers/viewers would think I was falling down on the job if I didn’t ask a couple makeup related questions. First of all, what is that ONE makeup related product you have to have to get into face? | |

So, boy was I very excited to see this week's episode. Big reason is because I want to make sure they are going to live up to what it was last week. I know in the beginning it's so hard for us to figure our favorites. I do have to say Anthony is still stands out as my favorite, even though last week he had a horrible design, this week he proved to be right there and showing us something good! Plus it's his personality that makes you want to see more of him. He makes me laugh and I think is very good!
This weeks challenge was to use potato sack material to create and industry party look. Some hit the mark and others fell short. Some of my favorite looks of the evening were from Jay which was also the winner of this challenge. You would have never known that his dress was a potato sack. It was very beautiful and looked expensive! Then there was Amy who's outfit wasn't trying to cover up the material with colors or other things. She did a wonderful job and it look so good that I would have worn it! Then there is cute Ben, I could just eat him up! He has this timeless vibe about his designs and this week he made a beautiful timeless dress that I fell in love with!
As for the person going home tonight, I felt like the wrong person went home! Jesus was in the bottom two again tonight and felt like he is not a strong designer. His outfit was covered with other fabric and just looked bad! Pamela just had a bad night, where as Jesus just has no taste. I hope the judges dont keep him in if he keeps doing bad, tastless work! But I am feeling that this season will be full of great things and new challenges. From the previews next week gets crazy as they are paired off! So till next week! I am signing out!
